XRB and logN-logS Predictions

The default values in this form produce an integrated X-ray background spectrum that agrees with observations in the 3-100 keV range at the 68 per cent confidence level.

The logN-logS predictions are produced in the energy range defined in the Min. Band Energy and Max. Band Energy fields to the flux limit defined in the log(Flux limit) field.

We caution that code runs over large z and L ranges will take long to execute and may be stopped by the server. If you require runs over a wide redshift and luminosity baselines, please split them into small intervals.

A wide range of values can be used as input for the xrb predictions, however note that not all combinations are consistent with the observed XRB spectrum. Please refer to the Akylas et al. (2012, A&A, 546, 98) paper for details.
